The Issue

This story started in November 2006 when a group of Commando Royal Marines from Kilo Company 42 realized that there was more than just people suffering, but animals as well, and so began an effort to resolve that matter.

That effort turned to be an effort that gathered support around the world, and also amassed a rather large staff who were assisting with this cause.

They have reunited over 1600 dogs and cats with the soldiers that bonded with them.  Think about that for a moment, think about all the time that went into those bonds on so many fronts.   We need more people like this who notice the little things in life.

Now, however, the tides have turned, and they need our help.   They are literally stuck and unable to find a way out.  Today, they were supposed to get out, however, due to suicide bombings near the Kabul Airport, they had to leave after waiting nearly 10 hours, as their chartered plane was not able to make the trip because it was deemed unsafe.   Reports are saying that they have an alternate plane, however, they need to wait to get clearance.

This petition is being started because we need to make sure Pen, his staff and animals are evacuated out in a safe manner.  They have done SO much for others and now it is time for us to do something for them.  Signing this petition may not seem like you are doing much, however, we have done several of these and I can assure you, it will make an impact, however, we need to share this with as many people as we can in a short amount of time.   Essentially, we are going to make this go viral, and that in itself, will help resolve this for his team.

Please share this with friends and family.
