Heartbreaking news broke today when the Japan Coast Guard decided to halt their search and rescue operations for the missing Filipino crew members of the sunken Gulf Livestock 1.

Last September 2, the ship which carried 43 crew, including 39 Filipinos, and nearly 6,000 cattle sank off the coast of Japan in the East China Sea due to rough seas brought by Typhoon Maysak. While 2 have been rescued and 1 body has been retrieved, there are still 36 Filipino and 4 international crew members still missing because of the mishap.

Please help us share our plea to urge President Rody Duterte and our governmentto seek assistance from other countries like China and South Korea to aid in the search for the missing and for Japan to resume the operations they already initiated prior.
