Free Anthony DeJohn Life sentence for a Non Violent Drug charge

Free Anthony DeJohn Life sentence for a Non Violent Drug charge
The Issue
My son, Anthony De John was sentenced to life plus 10 years for a nonviolent marijuana offense.
Please help us petition for his clemency. Anthony has been incarcerated since 2005.
Anthony is sentenced to Life plus 10 years for a nonviolent marijuana offense. He has been incarcerated since 2005. He has a loving family including his wife Jill, his two adult children, his parents, and even a grandson waiting on his return. He wants desperately to return the people who love him and have stood by him. Anthony has always worked hard and he has skills, especially in the construction industry, which would insure gainful employment and a seamless transition back into society.
Despite the fact that many states have legalized marijuana for medical use, and some even for recreational use, my son is sentenced to die in prison unless you help us get letters to give him another chance at life. Out of the approximately 32 co-defendants in his case, Anthony is the only one who remains behind bars.
Releasing a previously productive member of society, whose crime involved no violence and no victims would not only benefit Anthony and the family who love him, it would also benefit our society at large. It makes no fiscal sense to keep a man, who was never a danger or threat to anyone, locked behind bars until he dies. It is precisely these types of sentences that undermine the public’s trust in the system. Please show compassion and help us to get my son freed.
Anthony would love to hear from anyone who is backing him.
