President Joe Biden,
The 1994 Crime Bill has affected our communities in many ways, and I'm asking if you can help be apart of the solution and give the men and women that are so deserving a second chance to prove themselves and become productive members in society.
My father Felix Walls was released on April 24th, 2020, the first lifer released due to the Corona Virus, and COVID-19 and is still in need of a Pardon.
Since being released my father has started an organization called S.O.D.Sense of Direction, where he has a remedy and a solution that will help cut down on recidivism as well as the burden on the taxpayers.
Many of these men have over a 100 or more rehabilitated programs and have served 10, 20, 30, and 40 years. My question is when will they get their chance to prove themselves to society and show the positive changes they have made in their lives.
My father is asking all Ministers, Families, Friends, and Communities to get involved and adopt a prisoner, where they will be mentored and monitored upon their release back into the community.
The Ministers have all agreed to get involved and help so that these men and women, left behind can come out of the dark age where the 1994 Crime Bill has placed them as well as our communities.
We the people ask that you President Biden get involved and let's make a difference and put the light back into our communities that is so much needed.
