Honorable President Donald Trump

Please lend me an ear to a most urgent crisis most deserving of a few moments of your special, humble attention and most needed, so no one will die in prison for a Non-Violent Crime.....

Where the historical victims of the "War on Drugs" are left to rot in prison under long unjust and draconian sentences with no relief in sight. 

Where the above "War on Drugs" is long over with, and your actions should be conducted the very same way former President Carter handled the Vietnam war draft dodgers: The former president used his Article 11 vested powers and granted all the draft dodgers a blanket clemency.

Honorable President Trump, please consider the following:

1) By issuing a blanket Executive Order granting clemency and thereby commuting sentences of drug offenders and those convicted of other than violent crimes, from life in prison to 25 years in prison.

2) All 10 to 50 year sentences under drug offenses commuted down 50%.

Mr. president, this is what the Bills before the Legislature were attempting to accomplish. However, with you  being an advocate, these Bills can pass and it will help many families , take care of their love one's and cut down on the taxpayer's , paying for them to stay in prison.  

Mr. President, under Article 11 you are vested with the power of checks and balances to make this occur while you are  still in office. This urgently needed gesture will aid in fixing the criminal justice system, assuring your legacy, for you .
