Hi everyone,

I've been updated that the administration should be meeting to discuss the grading format of our online courses and should have an answer for us soon. I for one am hoping it is reflective of the need that teachers and students alike have for a dynamic approach to teaching and grading during this time. 

Having said all of that, I also wanted to say something short about how much it means to me to be part of a petition like this. It may seem simple but the fact that so many people have coalesced around something that we all collectively want to happen is powerful and humbling. I also have really appreciated the comments that everyone has made on this petition. They are full of conviction and a passion to accomplish something positive. That is special and I am so grateful for all of you making your voices heard. 

I'll end this update just by saying that, while this is my last year at Chatham, I am really proud to be a part of a community such as this one and I feel like I have gotten to indirectly meet a lot of you through your voices and this petition. 

I hope all of you and your families stay safe during this time and may we accomplish our goal together.
