Five days ago, Jen Psaki said that President Biden is considering clemency for people serving time for drug cases at a press briefing. This is exciting and the moment we've been waiting for because my mother has served over a quarter of a century for a first time drug offense! 

Check out the attached article that came out the same day as the press conference.  The journalist reached out to one of my mother's advocates, Amy Povah of the CAN-DO Foundation.  She mentioned Michelle's case which in turn, was referenced in the article as a good candidate for President Biden to consider. Help us keep the momentum going so I can be with my mother, go for a walk, buy her clothes, and laugh. I want to laugh with my mom again!  We need to put this pain of separation behind us and hold hands into the future.
