Stop the U. of Arizona football team from using the New Zealand Maori Ka Mate haka.

The Issue

The University of Arizona (Wildcats) football team, currently performs the New Zealand Maori haka known as Ka Mate prior to their football games.  This haka has deep cultural meaning and significance to the people of New Zealand.   The wildcats' performance of the haka clearly shows that they have not been trained in either its symbols, its meaning, nor its cultural significance.  Indeed their performance has been described by New Zealand students attending the university as "a circus".  Their continued performance of the haka is an affront to the people of New Zealand and should be discontinued.
