GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP: SAY ‘ENOUGH!’

WE HAVE TO ASK RESPONSIBILITIES to the Australian Prime Minister, Mr. SCOTT MORRISON, FOR:

The death around 1,000 MILLION ANIMALS  (they are dying in mass), 33 PEOPLE, more than 11 MILLION HECTARES burned (an area larger than Portugal)*, more than 2,000 HOMES burned and an uncertain number of MISSING people! And there are still summer months left! This could last until April-March when temperatures start to low in Australia!

It is not an option to say that "the climate change does not exist" as indicated by Mr. Morrison while his beautiful country was on fire and remains the leader of the country. We need RESPONSIBILITY. No more lies and ducking out. Because the acts of a human being, the other species are continuing to die. It is a shame. WE ARE A SHAME. Yes indeed, we should be a shame IF WE DO NOT DEMAND THAT THEY ACT OR DIMIT.

Let us demand ACTION OR DIMISION!

SIGN AND SHARE to convey our voice. The voice of the world's citizenship! Of all those who want to respect other living beings and take care of the planet while be possible.

Perhaps the pressure on this concrete leader, generates a DOMINÓ EFFECT in the world citizen demand on the rest of world leaders who still allow themselves to deny climate change. WE MUST DO SOMETHING NOW!

The east and the south coast of the Australian country is experiencing a borderline situation with hundreds of active fires. The flames devastate the whole country, with an aggressiveness even greater than the fires that occurred in the Amazon or in California last year.

The State of New Wales has already declared a state of emergency. The fire season are usually something common in Australia; however, the increase in temperatures (reaching almost 50 degrees in some places) had caused an uncontrollable dimensions this year.

The worst part is that since 2008 the Australian government had a report called 'Garnaut Climate Change Review' where the escalation in the intensity and prolongation of fires due to the effects of global overheating and the necessity to reduce emissions were exposed clearly. 12 years ago.

And NOW, without time to act, absurd 'solutions' are being taken such as eliminating 10,000 camels from South Australia to manage problems as water scarcity. They are not new measures, it has been taken in the past, but they are completly incomprehensible, desperate, and do not even solve a far-reaching problem like this. SPEECHLESS.

The smokes from fires are  increasing air pollution to such dangerous levels that in some places is being considerated a ‘public health emergency’. The smoke has even reached Chile and Argentina. 400 million tons of CO2 has been emitted up to now.
