Say YES to Community Space and NO to Developers!

The Town of South Kingstown plans to sell the Wakefield Elementary School property to developers. We believe this land should remain a resource for the entire community.

This property has the potential to become something truly special for Wakefield — a community center, a splash pad, a revitalized playground, much-needed parking for town events, and even space for a future elementary school as our community grows.

We support affordable housing, but this location is not right for any large-scale development. With the support of voters, local organizations, and donors, this land could be transformed into a lasting benefit for our town.

Once sold, this land is gone forever. Let’s keep the small-town charm of Wakefield and protect this space for generations to come.
