We, the Star Wars fan community, respectfully request that Lucasfilm honor and preserve the legacy of Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker as the most powerful Jedi in canon.

Anakin, as the Chosen One, and Luke, as the hero who restored balance to the Force, are the central pillars of the Skywalker Saga. Their extraordinary abilities, sacrifices, and roles in the galaxy’s history are fundamental to Star Wars’ story and mythology.

While we celebrate the introduction of new heroes like Rey and the ongoing evolution of the Jedi Order, we believe it is essential that the established achievements and power of Anakin and Luke remain undisputed. Future films should continue to portray them as legendary figures, whose strength, wisdom, and connection to the Force set the benchmark for all Jedi to come.

This is not a petition to limit creativity or storytelling. Rather, it is a call to preserve the continuity, respect the original saga, and ensure that Anakin and Luke’s monumental contributions to the Force and the galaxy are never diminished.

We, the fans, ask Lucasfilm to maintain the integrity of the Skywalker legacy so that new stories can build upon it while honoring the most powerful Jedi the galaxy has ever known.
