As strange as this may sound, we believe we may have identified the source of 'community' complaints. There's a group called Pickleball Noise Relief whose main goal is to shut down pickleball courts or prevent them from being built. They offer a service where they will have individuals flood local officials' inboxes with emails claiming that the noise is causing them serious distress. However, many of these individuals do not reside in the area, with most not even living in VA. It appears that this is what's happening with the Kendale Woods Park courts. I was made aware of this issue by a friend who happened to come across their page. There are multiple posts on their pages in regards to the courts on Kendale Woods but none of the people live in our area, they are just people who dislike pickleball being played anywhere at anytime.  In light of this, it becomes even more crucial for the Fairfax Park Authority to hold a community meeting regarding these courts. If the complaints are indeed coming from those who live in close proximity to the courts, then so be it, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
