In the last few years, The Archdiocese of New York allowed Findmypast.com to digitize the sacramental records of over 400 parishes and publish them on its website. The purpose of this petition is to push the Diocese of Brooklyn toward digitization in order to preserve its Historical Records. The Diocese of Brooklyn covers 188 separate parishes in both Brooklyn and Queens.
