The Main Road in Cutchogue is already a problem when it comes to traffic and accidents. Since 2020, there have been 144 accidents and 1,837 traffic stops recorded on the Main Road alone in Cutchogue. 

The rezoning of the 3.2 acre property at 29475 Main Road would add 36 apartments and 75 cars going in and out in one of the busiest areas on a daily basis. This would only add to the traffic and the risk for accidents and stops. 

Members of the Town Board and the Planning department have being working on this project since June 2022. They have been pushing it without the knowledge of Cutchogue residents.

Please contact your representatives on the Town board to demand explanations and share your concerns. They need to hear from as many concerned residents as possible.
