What’s Happening at Tacking Point Public School?
Our local media are going to share our story tomorrow at 8.30am. A new preschool is being proposed on school grounds - but as you know there are key concerns that need addressing before it goes ahead. Please come to outside our Tacking Point Public School tomorrow for the community voice to be heard to show your support - outside the school near the undercover basketball court entrance gate near our playground and koala habitat, please be there at 8.30am.

Parents and community are worried about:
                                                                                                                                          Koala habitat being destroyed that we planted and invested in as a school

Increased traffic and parking issues & safety risks for students
                                                                                                                                            Loss of our valuable open green play space and our playground ruined

Lack of community consultation and discussion and planning with our local leaders

We all want what’s best for our children, but it’s important that development happens the right way - with community input and transparent planning.
