A quick but important reminder:

Many of us have received the following response from the Department:

“We are pleased to advise that a community information session is planned for Thursday 23 October 2025. Details regarding the session’s timing and format will be shared early in Term 4.”

While this confirms they’ll be visiting our community to talk with us, after much persistence by us, unfortunately the rest of the message of their email received strongly implies that the development is already moving ahead on the proposed site.

📅 Please save the date: Thursday 23 October 2025 (time to be advised)

We need a strong, united presence at this session to urge the Department to genuinely engage with our community and local leaders to rethink this choice of site. Let’s advocate for a site that truly reflects the needs of our children, protects our koalas, and preserves the wellbeing of our broader community.
