The issue

We - Parents students, and caregivers at Tenambit NSW, Australia - know the value of the slushie machines TNT ice blocks at our school. These conveniences are not just palate pleasers on hot days. They provide a sense of comfort and reward to our students and teachers. They also aid in generating funds for our canteen, which directly reflects on the overall functioning of our school. Our hardworking canteen manager and volunteers, who relentlessly work behind those counters, are a testament to the service's importance.

Sadly, there is a cloud of threat looming over our beloved slushies and TNT's. This petition has been started out of concern for our community, specifically our students who would be devastated to see these small joys taken away from them. These perks don't just have a financial implication for our canteen, they nurture a sense of community and belonging. School occasions like fetes become more vibrant and enjoyable with their inclusion. We all know the joy these small treats bring to our students and staff members' faces. And we all have witnessed our school's camaraderie, how personal sacrifices and compassionate gestures have held us together through difficult times.

With this petition, we are not asking for luxuries beyond reach, just the continuance of what is already there - our cherished slushies and TNT's. This isn't about sweets; it's about the essence of our school, the collective unity and mutual understanding within our community. So let us ensure that our students continue to get their much-deserved treat, that our canteen keeps performing efficiently, and that the hard work of our canteen manager and volunteers does not go unseen.

Please support us in our battle, sign this petition, preserve our slushies and TNT's.
