Dear Neighbors -- Tomorrow is the big day! The Town Council vote on the rezoning of 111th and Arapahoe is happening on June 11th at 6:30 PM at Cavalry Bible Church, 615 Evans Street. Your presence is crucial to demonstrate our community’s strong opposition to this rezoning.
If you haven't already, please sign up to speak: Public Comment Sign-Up (click 'Request Access' button and you will be taken to the form).
We need everyone to attend and show that we care deeply about the future of our neighborhood. Bring your neighbors, friends, and family and ensure they know how important this vote is for the future of our community. If you cannot attend, please send your written comments to council@erieco.gov as soon as possible, making sure to include "I oppose the high-density rezoning."
At the last meeting, over 100 of us showed up to voice our concerns. This time, we need an even larger turnout to demonstrate our strong opposition for this plan and show that we care deeply about the future of our community.
For more information or to get involved, contact us at arapahoeand111@gmail.com.
Let's make a powerful statement tomorrow. Together, we can protect our community.
Please attend! Thank you for your continued support and helping to make a difference.
Sincerely,
~ Preserve Our Neighborhoods Coalition
PS --
- Please note the change in location to Calvary instead of Town Hall Council Chambers due to the anticipated attendance, based on our strong show out on 5/28. It is important that we have a big show at the vote, as a visual testament to how many of us oppose high density in this space. Smart growth with proper infrastructure require our voices to be heard. It really makes a big difference for you to be there. Please come :).
