Neighbor,
The developer sent an email this afternoon that may have been confusing. As a correction, this note is to confirm that the public hearing for the Rezoning of 111th & Arapahoe IS on Erie Town Council's agenda for tonight. Our team spoke with the Town Clerk's office and expressed our concern that the agenda (that the Town changed from Friday afternoon to today, in response to the developer's request) stated that the postponement was already granted, which is not the case. The postponement will be DECIDED IN THE MEETING, not before (and has been corrected). The Town Clerk updated that agenda to put the zoning ordinance back on the agenda, as you can see in the image above.
As it is most likely that the Town Council will approve the postponement to June 11th, Town Council will not take public comment tonight. However, one can make a general comment during the meeting.
THE GOAL TONIGHT IS TO SHOW UP AND SHOW A DISPLAY OF OPPOSITION with sheer numbers. This shows the Town Council the level of our opposition by just being in the room. Please attend!
See you tonight!
