We care deeply for our country, Afghanistan, and our national flag is a symbol of unity, freedom, and our rich culture. This concern stems from PUBG's attempts to replace our traditional national emblem with a white flag that unfortunately evokes horrific memories associated with terror attacks in our region.

PUBG has a vast global audience, with millions of active users - an impressive feat, but one that comes with the responsibility of promoting accuracy and respect for every country’s sovereign emblems. The current decision to change the Afghan flag to a white one is seen as an attempt to associate the in-game Afghanistan with political instability, which we feel is inaccurate and disrespectful.

We would like to remind PUBGM that as a game, its primary function should be to provide an enjoyable, nonpolitical entertainment experience for all its users, regardless of their geographic location. Players look towards games such as PUBGM as escapes from reality, not additional places where political tensions are exacerbated.

We urge PUBGM to reconsider this proposed change and allow us to continue playing with our flag's original, respected and accurate depiction.
