Good Afternoon, Everyone!
We wanted to send out a reminder to everyone about the Lake Ridge POA board election. There are two director spots available. Please look in your email inbox for your electronic ballot. If you are having trouble locating it, be sure to check your spam folder as many members have mentioned that they found it there.
Electronic voting is the most secure way to vote. Voting will conclude at NOON, March 5. Winners will be announced later that day. Please make an informed decision and cast your vote!
The annual members meeting is next Monday, March 3 at 6pm. It will take place at the Lake Ridge Elementary School. Candidates will not be speaking during this meeting, but may choose to do so during the members' forum.
This election is of high importance to our community. We have a great opportunity to remove directors who are not representing our best interests. We desperately need a new direction for leadership, one that looks ahead and is ready to be proactive in situations that could potentially impact us.
Because of our efforts, the sitting president is feeling the heat of poor decision making last year. As a result, he is lashing out at Kay Whitt, accusing her of suing the board, which we all know is unfounded and ridiculous. Our fight rests with the City, not the board. The board should bear some blame based on not specifically addressing the issue. If the community had been alerted in May 2023 with real action, we most likely would not be where we are today with this effort.
Kay has felt compelled to shine a bright light on the accusations being launched, so she created a "Fact or Fiction" information sheet to share with all of you. It addresses each untruth that is being said and what the facts truly are.

As stated before, DO NOT VOTE FOR INCUMBENTS, Patrick Dale or Lew Blackburn. If we want to see REAL change, it will have to start with leadership changes. Great choices for your vote are Kay Whitt, Roger Welch, and Antoine Scott.
