Goa's environmental balance and beauty are already under threat with the current government proposing massive changes in land use for the purpose of development. With global warming and climate change on the rise, the preservation of green cover is imperative; yet the greed and shortsightedness of the government under Pramod Sawant will turn Goa brown and ugly.
