To everyone who knew him, Eddie was more than just a figure skater. He was a bundle of energy at our rink, bringing joy and laughter to everyone he touched. His usual spot was a particular chair by the side, where he'd tie his skates and socialize with us. This chair has become a symbol, an echo of Eddie’s vibrant presence and infectious energy. 

Preserving Eddie's chair in its place is not just about a piece of plastic. It's about keeping a piece of our beloved friend and skating member where it belongs, honoring his spirit, his life, and the immense impact he had on all of us. 

We are calling on the rink's management to keep Eddie's chair untouched. In doing so, we pay tribute to a life that deeply touched ours and embody our community's strength, resilience, and ability to remember him in a sweet way. It is a humble request, but it carries the weight of our collective wish to remember Eddie in the most authentic way possible.
