The Issue

Destiny’s future matters. But the question is not only whether Destiny continues. The question is what Destiny carries forward.

Preserve Destiny’s Endgame is a respectful community effort asking Sony and Bungie to preserve the identity that made Destiny unique: raids, Day 1 races, contest mode, world-first culture, clans, sherpas, low-man challenges, speedruns, buildcrafting, and aspirational PvE.

This petition is not meant to compete with broader community petitions asking for Destiny 3 or a future Destiny project. Those efforts show that players still care deeply about the franchise. This petition exists to make sure one specific message is not lost: whatever comes next for Destiny must preserve the raid, clan, world-first, and aspirational PvE identity that made the IP unique.

For many players, Destiny was never just a looter shooter. It was a place where clans formed identities, raid teams prepared for Day 1 races, sherpas taught new players, low-man and speedrun teams pushed the sandbox to its limits, and endgame players gave the game long-term cultural value.

Accessibility matters. New players matter. But accessibility should help players enter Destiny; it should not erase mastery from the top end.

We are asking Sony and Bungie to:

  1. Communicate clearly about the future of the Destiny IP.
  2. Carry Destiny’s raid and aspirational PvE identity into whatever comes next
  3. Build the next chapter of Destiny around a clear identity and a full ladder of aspiration.
  4. Recognize clans, raid teams, sherpas, low-man players, speedrunners, buildcrafters, dungeon players, and Day 1 competitors as core to Destiny’s long-term value.
  5. Support elite PvE, world-first races, meaningful clan identity, and difficult team-based endgame content in Destiny’s future.
  6. Preserve and honor Destiny’s legacy content where possible, while understanding that preservation alone is not a replacement for a future.
  7. Open respectful dialogue with the serious endgame community.

This is not a harassment campaign, review-bombing push, anti-developer post, or claim that Destiny is being shut down. It is a respectful request from players who care about the future of the franchise.

If Destiny continues in any form, its endgame identity must remain central.

Raids. Clans. Mastery. The soul of Destiny.
