Thank you for signing the petition to put stop a mega-development that would sacrifice 1900 acres of prime farmland and have potentially disastrous effects on the pristine water of Springwater and the internationally significant Minesing Wetlands. We are very close to meeting our goal and the momentum is just beginning. We've had many more groups come to support us including: Council of Canadians, Food and Water First, Environmental Defence, STORM Coalition, Simcoe County Federation of Agriculture, Brereton Field Naturalists Club, Mike Schreiner Leader of the Green Party of Ontario and AWARE Simcoe. These well respected organizations have lent their support because they know that our natural resources and our farms MATTER! Moreover, they know that sprawl developments such as the Midhurst Secondary Plan need to be curbed - sprawl hurts us all. Thank you for your continued support.
