Our petition to save the farmland and protect water sources from a proposed mega-development in Midhurst is creating quite a buzz. Not only has it quickly surpassed its halfway mark, it has also been shared amongst many conservation groups such as Council of Canadians (Simcoe). Our latest is that Mike Schreiner, leader for the Ontario Green Party, has stepped up to the plate and signed the petition. Obviously, he is making good on his party's commitment to preserve farmland and the environment. Thank you for signing and sharing.
