Can you spare 2 minutes to put food and water first? To stand up for an open and transparent democracy? Ontario is looking for feedback from residents about how it can grow smarter communities and preserve its farmland, water and natural heritage. We think it is a key time to send an email to the Premier to remind her that while she looks at ways to build a better Ontario, NOW is the time for her to correct the past wrongs done to Midhurst through its custom loophole. It is a miscarriage of due process and people need to stand up against it to preserve prime farmland and an internationally significant wetland. NOW is the time to remind her and her staff that our food and water MUST come before corporate greed and backroom deals. She can correct these wrongs during this review, but we need to demonstrate that there is public demand for her to do the right thing by Midhurst, Ontario's prime farmland and globally significant wetlands.
