A Facebook Page "Protecting our natural resources Nova Scotia" gives a list of the locations around the bay where petitions that can be signed have been posted. Apparently "actual" signatures have more strength than virtual ones and can be presented in the legislature, having more potential weight in influencing decisions. So if you go to Redmonds Home Hardware, Smitty's Otis and Clementines, Billy Joe's Automotive, Thome's store in Black Point, Hubbard's Home Hardware, FitzGerald's convenience store in Timberlea, you can physically sign the petition. Hope this all works and that we can change this decision to clear cut lands so close to the Bay!
