I'm sure that many of you would like to know more about the location of the lots targeted for clear cut harvesting. The "Fibre Allocation Maps" are posted on the DNR website at the following link: http://novascotia.ca/natr/forestry/fibre-allocation/allocation-maps.asp Once you download the map, locate St. Margaret's Bay, expand the scale and you will see the three lots we hope to protect from the sorry fate of clear cut harvesting. Note also the vast expanse of crown lands north of the 103. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have more of these lands protected....
