The new PCR Covid-19 testing guidelines neglect the thousands of children in daycares across the province, by not giving them the same access to take-home tests as children in elementary and high school will receive.
It is profoundly unfair to put our smallest members of society, who aren't yet eligible for vaccines, at risk by not giving them access to take-home PCR tests. It is also irresponsible to stop tracking Covid cases in daycares. This threatens the health of our youngest children. 

It is untenable for working parents to need to isolate an entire family for five to ten days for every cold a child catches at daycare. If you want the economy to recover, you must enable parents of young children to work, not create more obstacles preventing this. 

Tell provincial officials, to reconsider the guidelines and that daycares must be supplied with adequate take-home PCR tests. Tell provincial officials to restore tracking and reporting Covid cases in daycares.
