We’re asking TDSB Trustee candidates in the fall 2018 election to commit to advocate for an amendment to the Education Development Charges regulation (Ontario Reg. 20/98) under the Education Act. This would  allow the TDSB to collect EDCs from developers in order to support new schools in high density growth areas and to renovate existing ones.
