To all our Sydney Dive Wreck supporters. Thank you for supporting our online campaign through Change.Org. We have reached a point in our campaign where our next step will be for our local State Member of Parliament , Bruce Notley-Smith, to table a paper petition in the New South Wales parliament so that Bruce can seek agreement for the government to proceed with our Dive Wreck. We need to collect 10,000 signatures to enable this petition to be tabled, so are seeking your help in collecting these. Although we were not successful in securing the ex-HMAS Sydney as our dive wreck , the HMAS Darwin is due to be decommissioned in December , so we need to move fast to collect the signatures and table the petition. Petitions are available at the dive stores in Sydney listed below - so please call into your dive shop and sign the petition in person. Alternatively, you can order a copy of the petition which will be mailed to you and we then ask you to collect as many signatures as you can from family , friends, dive buddies , work colleagues and return them to us at the address provided. If you have a shop / cafe etc where you could put the petition on display, that would be great.
