Hi everyone,
This weekend, I’ll be packing my bags, dusting off my Akubra and polishing my boots to head to Canberra with a powerful message for our politicians. I even bought a new pair of trousers for the occasion!
With 20 other farmers from across this great continent, I’ll deliver a 20,000+ strong petition demanding a national plan for farming and climate change.
But getting 20 of us from remote farming communities to Parliament House in Canberra is a massive exercise, and costs money.
Farmers for Climate Action is a community movement of farmers and graziers calling for climate action - including action to support farmers as we deal with climate change.
I believe that together we can work together as a nation to ensure our generation, and future generations can farm forever.
Thank you so much for your help.
Angus Emmott
