Raymond and Carmen has played an active role in assisting with harassment creating a disturbance within the building. A lot of the rebuttals is because they are elderly as to why they don’t think they are capable of harassment. By law the approach is different if it’s only tenants engaging in the harassment it leaves them not fully responsible legally. Looks like a game of tag. Tenants with combination workers leaves people with no choice. While management and DPS doesn’t follow protocol, actively intervene and investigate they allow this to make it even more dangerous.

“Current and Future tenants beware My family has resided in Parkchester for over 30 years in a rent stabilized apartment. Well 3 years ago I made a complaint on a similar website about the poor maintenance of elevators and increased Vernon and insects. They in turn decided to retaliate in covert ways to constructively push my family out of our dwelling. In addition to the increased insects they have individuals placing a foul smelling substance in front of our apartment daily. They moved in new tenants above, below and adjacent to me that pound on the walls at random times during the day. My packages and grocery deliveries have been stollen within minutes of drop off. Parkchester security claims they have no video of anyone leaving with the items which leads me to believe it is a neighbors residing in the building, perhaps compensated. The police will not assist with landlord issues which allows them to continue these illegal and harassing tactics. My pipes began rattling 3 weeks ago when I turn on the hot water and on several occasions when I left my apartment ! returned to damaged doorknobs, switched out peephole glasses, damaged intercom and other items within my home. The following day | get a call from parkchester to repair a door knob l never called in as damaged. Please beware of the illegal practices, invasion of privacy and harassment here. If you have experienced any of this I urge you to contact your local politicians and record the incidents.”

“This is by far the worse place that one can live in! They're disgusting, rude, and pass the buck to every other department. They inconvenience you at every turn. I called 311 on them for a leak and now they are harassing me so that their violation can be closed, or course with tape so that it can just happen again at a later date. There are roaches, spiders, you name it, it's there. I'd rather pay extra money somewhere else for better living conditions.
Even some of the workers for the building do not live at Parkchester because it trash. Just a few more months, then I'm running out of here to something better. Never been so miserable with the place I lay to rest.”

“I'M HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN MOVING HERE, ITS NOT EVEN A YEAR & I'VE BEEN GOING THROUGH THE FOLLOWING: DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBOR BLASTING MUSIC ON REPEAT WITH LOUD BASS, OF COURSE PUBLIC SAFETY WAS CALLED FINALLY AFTER 2-3 MONTHS AFTER ME COMPLAINING TO THEIR SUPPOSEDLY COMMUNITY AFFAIRS OF WHY THEY'RE NOT DOING THE PROPER INVESTIGATION OF WHO IS PLAYING LOUD BASS MUSIC FROM 6AM TO 5AM THE NEXT DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK, I HAVE A 1 BEDROOM THAT I CAN'T ENJOY BECAUSE THIS OLD GUY HAS HIS WHOLE CLUB LOUNGE SPEAKERS HIDDEN IN HIS BEDROOM

SO YES DO NOT MOVE HERE, YOU WILL NEVER HAVE PEACE & QUIET WHILE STAFF HERE TALKS TO YOU AS IF THEY'RE DOING YOU A FAVOR OR PAYING YOUR RENT & BILLS OR SOMETHING, THEY ARE STRAIGHT IGNORANT & RUDE. THE OTHER THING I'VE NOTICED WHICH I NEVER EXPERIENCED IN OTHER APTS, IS THAT U CAN HEAR EVERYTHING FLOORS ARE PAPER THIN”

“There's constant kitchen and bathroom repair throughout the year. Paint peeling off, tiles collapsing from bathroom wall, kitchen sink clogging and hot water shutdown sometimes.Just to make an appointment, you have to be put on hold for 45mn then after two weeks management will send an inspector to perform a visual inspection and 3 weeks later start repairs “
