Victoria is the first state in Australia to propose new laws to curtail LGBTQ+ Conversion practices, and community consultation has begun!

If you live in Victoria, you are being invited to take part in shaping the new laws here.

This is such an encouraging step in the right direction! The Victorian government is consulting with key stakeholders including survivor groups like Brave and SOGICE Survivors, which is imperative. These survivor-led groups advocate a multifaceted approach to combat the problem which focuses not only on the practices but the ideology which underpins them.

Lets keep telling the rest of the country to follow the lead of the Victorian Andrews government!
