4 October 2025. We are living these tense days with both optimism and doubt, as the world looks to the US plan to end the war in Gaza. Can it really bring the hostages home, allow healing, safety, closure, and the rebuilding of lives in both Israel and Gaza?
At this pivotal moment in history, our prayers cry out louder than ever for the 48 remaining hostages, and for an end to the suffering of all who are living through this terrible conflict.
I went seeking a word of encouragement and found this pearl of wisdom about HOPE from the late, great Rabbi Jonathan Sacks. He makes clear that the basis for hope is not sentimental feeling but an act of faith which is a key to human survival.
May our prayers rise as one on wings of hope in these critical days. Bring Them Home!
