THANK YOU for your persistent prayer-support for those held hostage.

It is moving to learn of the stories behind the faces of the hostages, such as that of young Emily, who turns nine in captivity.

It is powerful to hear people’s pledges mentioned in conversations, such as: “I’m praying for 16-year-old Or. His name means ‘light’. I'm praying for light in the darkness engulfing him and his family members [also taken hostage].”

There has been sad news as we learn of confirmed deaths, including that of Vivian Silver, long time peace activist, and supporter of Palestinian rights. Her life as a force for good is commemorated in this Washington Post tribute. We pray for her, her sons and her vision for a better future for humanity.

We will not give up hope. We thank you for your ongoing spiritual support and awareness-raising for the hostages. And our hearts reach out to ALL who are tragically impacted by this conflict - in Israel, in Gaza, and around the world.
