Many of the students of Prairie View College of Nursing have been greatly impacted by the recent event of Covid-19 and many of us are in desperate need of funding to support continuing our education at the college of nursing. Unfortunately the school is not providing tuition relief of any kind at this time and full payments for summer and fall  2020 courses are expected on time. 

     Many of us were instructed by faculty to not obtain jobs because it would distract us from our studies. Now that we are on a stay at home order, many of us definitely cannot afford to continue our nursing degrees due to trying to follow the advice previously given. We are studying long days and nights in stressful environments fearing that this semester may be our last due to financial strain. We face the fear of being left behind if we cannot afford to pay for classes during this time. There must be help somewhere. 

     I wanted to represent the school by sending a plea to Prairie View College of Nursing  to provide us with tuition fee relief resources. We are requesting reduced tuition fees for the summer  and fall of 2020 or even  payment  plan availability for  summer and fall of 2020 courses. 

     We are the future nurses of the next pandemic. Our dreams should not be put on hold because of financial gain. 

     Please, we ask sincerely, to provide us with any tuition relief that is possible.
