The Issue

We want bamboo toothbrush, not plastic toothbrush

We are young changemakers from 'Bhubaneswar Changemakers' group. During our learning workshop, we were discussing to reduce plastic from our daily usage. We found most common plastic is the toothbrush that we begin our day with.

So we thought to write two most popular toothbrush companies which all of us are using. We request to make body of tooth brush to bamboo instead plastic, as plastic takes many years to disintegrate. Bamboo toothbrush is gaining popularity around the world as they are eco-friendly and biodegradable. If the handle of the bamboo tooth brush is made of bamboo, we can easily put into the composite bin.

Why we should buy bamboo tooth brush ?

We should buy bamboo tooth brush to reduce the use of plastic in the daily life. National Geographic says that more than 448 million tons of plastic are produced every single year, which poses serious problem because plastic does not break down and often ends up not getting recycle.

So we are requesting you to consider for this new change. As you are present in every household, this will greatly help in reducing plastic in great amount.
