Power Rangers: It's Morphin' Time

Power Rangers: It's Morphin' Time
The Issue
The 2017 " Power Rangers " film had the potential to be the start of a fantastic franchise filled with unforgettable characters, a diverse cast, and an overall good story. Unfortunately, many important scenes were cut from the film, and it made only 142 million dollars on a 100-105 million dollar budget. But this was not the fault of Dean Israelite or the film's talented crew, including the actors. Even with the deleted scenes released on the BLU-RAY, many scenes are still shown in the promo material that are missing from the film. And many fans still want to see the five actors play these beloved characters.
However, this iteration of the Power Rangers has grown on many people. It has been praised for being free of stereotypes and for implementing diversity missing from most comic-book films today. The film set a milestone as it gave audiences both the first autistic superhero and the first lesbian superhero, respectively. So many young people are overlooked in society due to their race, past mistakes, culture, and sexual orientation, among other factors. But this was one of the first times they felt seen, thanks to this film.
The five teenagers also appealed to the audience because they felt like a team. At the start of the film, they each had their own emotional baggage and differences. And they certainly didn't like the idea of being heroes. But as the film goes on, they grow closer to each other and even become willing to die for one another.
Overall, the five young actors and Elizabeth Banks gave exceptional performances that are still praised online.
Imagine the possibilities if the director's cut were released or, better yet, if these amazing actors could get at least two more films, making a complete trilogy. Seven years have passed, and the abilities of the young actors have grown immensely since starring in some of the best films of the 2020s. Dean Israelite has also grown as a filmmaker, with his recent film, LITTLE WING, scoring an audience score of 78 percent on ROTTEN TOMATOES. Plus, a trilogy would be perfect since comic book films return after a long period of fatigue. Adding a warrior-like Lord Zedd and the fan favorite Tommy Oliver would be a dream come true.
Sadly, the world continues to get worse and worse every day. People need hope now more than ever; they hope that good people are still willing to help others and that things will improve, even though things look bleak. If there was ever a time to complete this amazing story, it's now.
