Hello Petition Supporters!

Thanks so much for signing and sharing the petition to ban audio devices at Walden Pond and help restore the natural soundscape at the pond! We are 1 week into the petition and last time I checked we had 182 supporters. I've been in touch with Carmine Gentile's office - the state rep for the 13th Middlesex district. Walden Pond falls under his jurisdiction. His assistant thinks that Gentile will be sympathetic to our plea. The plan is to gather as many signatures as possible, and Gentile might be willing to reach out to DCR and Peter Hoffman who is the supervisor at Walden Pond. Once I'm in touch with Carmine Gentile's office again I can get more direction as far as where we go from here. I can also get some information regarding who we all might want to email to voice our opinions that way as well - it might have an even bigger impact to reach out to decision makers directly.

What we need to do now though is get as many signatures as possible so please share this petition with anyone and in as many channels as you can think of.
