As some of you may have already read in the Portsmouth News, the Portsmouth City Council, with out communicating with any the supporters of this petition have been behind the scenes looking at ways that they can proceed with their desire to demolish the Former Records Office.

Even though it was voted unanimously back in March that the demolition should stop and an alternative use be exhausted.

So the fight continues only this time we have to do this with more will and want. 
We need to start by getting this petition to 10,000 signatures. Getting one thousand really did help the cause be heard so a much larger number is the voice we need to show the system that we the people are tired of being ignored.

So please, help me by sharing this petition to anyone you know who wants to help stop the ignorant politicians that just do what they want when they feel like it, and let’s get this building saved and reutilised.
