This week is special - Please read

Hello All, 

I do hope most of you have been enjoying ride outs in the improving weather , I know I have. I even had by bike resprayed for the new season!.

Just a quick update to let you know that despite meeting up with Cllr Madgwick Jnr (Madgwick Snr retired last year due to ill health) to solicit his support in our fight more bad news came weeks after I'd spoken to him and it seems that he has stood down to, reportedly to help his father who has had been suffering from particularly poor health. This means I will need to look further afield in PCC to secure further support.  Which I will start after this special week.  

This brings to the special week , Yes , it's time to get voting for your local councillors on Thursday and for those lucky enough to live in Portsmouth all of your councillors are up for re-election, perhaps an opportunity?. 

Although I would never tell anyone how to vote I will just remind you all that the person responsible for the current ban on motorcycles using Portsmouth bus lanes (which don't forget you helped pay for) is Cllr Peter Candlish who I personally suspect is prejudice against motorcyclists and has little interest in biker safety. He is in charge of transport matters in the city. He is a Lib Dem party member and represents Eastney & Craneswate Ward in Portsmouth. I have added a photo of this rather disappointing councillor just in case you don't know who he is

Just bear this in mind on Thursday when I hope you all vote for whoever you support and have your say via the ballot box.

Once all this settles down I will back in touch with PCC and of course will update you all accordingly.
