We have been very busy over Christmas and new year and we just thought we’d give a little update about actions we set in motion in 2024…

We now have 2 cases going through Supreme Court QCAT hearings:

The first is to obtain the evidence relating to the prosecution of Constable Bryce Collins who illegally looked Luke up and disclosed information to a member of the public at the time Luke was killed, police have attempted to cover this up and it was only by chance that we found out. 

The second is to obtain a very narrowed scope of the street CCTV that Whitsunday regional council, the police and the coroner are all covering up and 2 pieces of which are the snipped and tampered versions provided at inquest.

The first hearing is in March and second is in April.

We also have an active human rights case that is currently being delayed and ignored by the Queensland human rights commission since we first lodged it in November 2024 so we are now escalating through international options.

We are still appealing the inquest findings to have them set aside due to the corruption that exists in our entire case. We have a government funded lawyer who has currently been processing the brief of evidence now for over 7 months which indicates that the 10 days our previous legal team got with it prior to inquest was profoundly inadequate.

We have a privacy breach case which is ongoing through multiple channels including federal level and we will give more details about that soon.

We are continuing to build our own brief of evidence and whilst we can’t make everything public due to the constant stalking by police and their lawyers, we are getting closer to exposing them.
