Serena captivated fans and critics alike with her excellent writing, dynamic character development, and awesome personally. Joining the Pokemon anime in Pokemon the Series: XY, Serena quickly became a fan favorite. As the series progresses, her character changed and developed like no other character in Pokemon. She rapidly began to become one of the best characters in all of Pokemon.

After a heart-wrenching goodbye in Episode 47 of XYZ, Serena headed out to the Hoenn region. This devastated fans who wanted Serena to continue her journey with Ash. However, there was also a hope that Ash would one day revisit Hoenn and see her again.

It's been over three years since we last saw Serena. Meanwhile, other characters like Misty and Brock have made appearances. Yet Serena is still a no-show. It is borderline idiocy to keep your best character out of the mainstream anime. It's time the fans took a stand to bring back the best character in Pokemon.
