Having marred the facade of Pocatello High School this last year, the Pocatello School Board now intends to go after it's name, mascot and of course its proud tradition and heritage.
Political correctness is an insidious disease and needs to stop. We are allowing everything that is good, and true, and beautiful to be dismantled and destroyed. It was the Tribe that originally granted Pocatello High School permission to use the name. If this is allowed to go forth, of course it will not end there, the Mayor and City council will next pursue a name change for city. Let's Save Pocatello High School's Indian Mascot
