The school board’s estimate was $4.5. At the same time the school district was denying that there was a building being designed to be built on the property between the two main buildings. This article proves the school district was misleading about the overall cost and lying as they openly admitted that a building was in fact being designed to be built between the two existing buildings The citizens of Pocatello have been deceived at every step of the way. The school district has not been open and forthcoming until after the fact. The public deserved an opportunity to comment on a project of this importance, but the elites at the school district assume they know best. They did not follow their own guiding principles that required them to do so. It is time to elect new representatives to the school board. Pocatello deserves better.
