In a new low of administrative terrorism, the Kolkata police has detained a doctor who was on duty at the Kolkata Durga Puja Carnival and was wearing a supporting badge for Justice for Abhaya. 

Kolkata failed to provide security to the doctors across the state. And now when the doctors are demanding security, those asking for it are arrested. That too when a doctor is just wearing a badge to show support. In a democratic country like India, it is fundamental right to of a person to protest. 

After over 5 hours of detention, and intervention and gherao by many doctors of the Maidan Police station, the doctor has been released from police custody. But as doctor, this is what you have to expect in West Bengal today.
