Meghalaya Chief Minister’s daughter hit a doctor. You must have seen the video. His “crime” was that he asked her to take an appointment prior to her visit to his clinic. Chief Minister Zoramthanga issued a public apology.
But this shows a deep rooted mentality in India - Nothing will happen to you if you assault a doctor. This incident proved it further.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi showed us a vision on 15th August. That India will become a developed nation. And I hope it happens. But I also hope that the position of doctors in that India is much better than today.
