FIR with non bailable sections & Medicare 2009 lodged against people who assaulted Dr Gourav Ray, at Nimta, West Bengal.

Team of West Bengal Doctors Forum  did a commendable job of pursuing and making sure that a FIR was lodged in non bailable sections. Such associations of doctors are needed all over the country. 

The SOS message sent by Dr Gourav Roy is heart wrenching. Imagine it was you in the situation.

"Please help, I & my family member is in danger. Because I can't give proper treatment to a 28 yrs old symptomatic AMI patient in my house,reffered to nearby emergency, but died on the way

He and his family and home was attacked. His home vandalised. We wish he and his family recovers from the physical and psychological trauma soon.

Let us hope that such situation never happens to any doctor. But also do all in our power to condemn such incidents.
